Aden Nankervis, a cherished member of the Newcastle and Maitland community, passed away in the early hours of November 7th, 2025. Known for his kindness, humor, and unwavering support for those around him, Aden left an indelible mark on everyone he met. His passing has left a profound void in the hearts of family, friends, and the wider community.
Born and raised in the Newcastle area, Aden was admired for his genuine personality and ability to bring joy even on the toughest days. He was always willing to lend an ear, offer a helping hand, or share a laugh, making him a trusted friend and confidant to many. Aden’s warmth and empathy created lasting connections, and his presence will be remembered for its generosity and light.
Outside of his personal relationships, Aden contributed positively to the community. His friends and loved ones recount his efforts to support those struggling, as well as his dedication to causes he held dear. In particular, Aden’s passion for mental health awareness and suicide prevention inspired many, and his legacy continues through initiatives like the Black Dog Institute, which he supported.
